The Workforce Excellence Group, LLC was created in 2011 to fill the void when the highly-regarded Maryland Institute for Workforce Excellence was dissolved because of federal budget cuts. We recognized that the need for what we do still exists, so we took it upon ourselves to build a new vehicle to continue the work we started.
We’re passionate about lifelong learning. We believe we all must take responsibility for our own personal and professional growth.
We also believe that individuals and organizations which stand still are doomed to be left behind. Many a false step was made by standing still.
We focus on four things:
1) Delivering cutting-edge professional development and capacity building services for staff and organizations in the career and workforce development fields
2) Teaching job seekers how to quickly find new or better jobs
3) Helping business and industry develop and maintain a qualified workforce by ensuring their employees have the essential “soft” (people) skills they need to help the organization and themselves thrive.
4) Equipping trainers/instructors with brain-based tools and strategies that help them create and deliver highly interactive and engaging training sessions that promote learning
